Reviweing The Outstanding Rose Gold and White Gold Longines DolceVita Ladies Watch Replica

The new Longines DolceVita Ladies watch replica (Ref. L5.155.5.00.7) delivers just about anything that you can expect from a modern watch designed for modern ladies: it is rationally designed, flawlessly executed and will probably match any jewelry that includes clear diamonds, as well as white and rose gold. The reason for this is simple: the Swiss watchmaking brand offers competitively priced timekeepers that feature professional (although some may also call it generic) design, high-quality movements that they get right from ETA with all the modifications they want, and, of course, top quality assembly.

Longines is often the first brand that comes to mind when people think about getting their first “real” watch.

This Longines DolceVita (Ref. L5.155.5.00.7), for example, is currently offered at around $8000, which is quite pricey for a quartz-powered watch. However, the price is justified by the choice of materials chosen for the timekeeper’s face and body and by the fact that Longines prefers to use fine-tuned versions of ETA workhorses to power their timekeepers.

As you can see on the pictures, this is so-called “two-tone” Longines watch replica that features a combination of 18-carat rose gold bezel, crown and bracelet links and mirror-polished stainless steel body.

On the other hand, this image of a maker of entry-level watches often backfires, since, having five-six thousand euros in their pockets, potential buyers often turn to more established brands, like Omega or Breitling. Still, Longines doesn’t give up and keeps introducing expensive timekeepers that offer more value for money than the “premium” brands.

The 212 Wesselton VS diamonds (0.508 carats) that decorate its rectangular dial are matched with 32 more Top Wesselton VVS diamonds (0.269 carats) lined along the right and left sides of the body. Besides providing the dial with that inimitable glitter that only diamonds can make, the precious stones also do quite a good job of serving as nice background for the pair of rose gold hour and minute hands in their signature sword-shape design.

Although the watch is equipped with ETA 980.153-based Longines L178 quartz caliber that usually comes with a small seconds indicator that can also serve as battery EOL indicator, the electric engine was modified with the seconds hand removed. Well, I must admit that the move was justified: on a diamonds-paved dial a tiny seconds hand would look, um, not particularly impressive.

As for a verdict, I must say that, while Longines is often considered a poor man’s brand by snobs, and also the watch is clearly not an investment (like all mass-produced best fake Longines  watches, Swiss-made or not) the watch looks brilliant and could be a nice present for a special occasion.
