The new Longines DolceVita Ladies watch replica (Ref. Although the watch is equipped with ETA 980.153-based Longines L178 quartz caliber that usually comes with a small seconds indicator that can also serve as battery EOL indicator, the electric engine was modified with the seconds hand removed. Well, I must admit that the move was justified: on a diamonds-paved dial a tiny seconds hand would look, um, not particularly impressive.

As for a verdict, I must say that, while Longines is often considered a poor man’s brand by snobs, and also the watch is clearly not an investment (like all mass-produced best fake Longines watches, Swiss-made or not) the watch looks brilliant and could be a nice present for a special occasion.
